President Chakwera Urges Action Over Talk to Address Malawi's Forex Shortage






President Lazarus Chakwera emphasized the urgency of addressing Malawi's forex shortage by advocating for a shift towards proactive production for exports, rather than mere dialogue.

Speaking at the opening of the 2024 Tobacco Marketing Season in Chinkhoma, Kasungu, Chakwera highlighted the prevalence of individuals engaging in rhetoric without taking tangible steps towards generating forex. He stressed the need for practical action, urging support for tobacco growers who play a crucial role in generating foreign exchange for the nation.

Chakwera's remarks underscored the imperative of transitioning from talk to action in bolstering Malawi's forex reserves
